My name is Csaba Farkas, I was born in 1986, in Baja, Hungary. The “Aargus” name came from an old tale, from my childhood. The love of music started to play an important role in my life relatively early.
First, I was just listening, and searching tracks that I like, then I slowly started beeing interested in the construction of music. Over the years, I found many artists, who had greatly infuenced my musical style, including John Creamer & Stephane K, Lexicon Avenue, John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Chus & Ceballos, and many others.
In 2003, one of my friends gave me my first music editing software, and I used that for a quite long time. My bigest motivation is the tribal-progressive house, especially the deep, dark tribal drums and basses, and diverse vocals. After many years of trying, in May, 2010, I found myself under the aegis of AK-Tek Records, after I made my entry to their “Jey Fever & Lockheed – Weight” remix contest. Then, in Aug, 2010, the jury chose my track for the winner of the Aenaria Recordings “Against The Grain – Seven” remix contest. In my current musics, I aspire after engrossment, and thoughts. In Dec, 2010 release my first original track, called „Hallucinations” at Aenaria Recordings. In Oct, 2010 make a remix of track, called “St. Black feat. Jonathan Morning – Sad To Say” and this track released in Oct, 2011 at Baroque Records.
Most people forgot that real tribal-progressive genre from around the millenium. It was magical, deep, inspirational, and food for thought. Unfortunately nowadays one can hardly ever hear that kind of tracks, because the style and the sound changed so much. The club music turned into electro house, the progressive turned into minimal techno and tech-house. And in many cases, they sound like mass produced, confection music to me. So it’s not a coincidence, that I prefer listening those older musics. They bring back nice memories. I would like to help that genre to resurrect, with a somewhat new sound, but the old values. I hope I can do it, and that I can make a lot of tracks with a similar style… and that I can impress you guys with my music.
And now in 2011, release my first EP at Distants Records. On this EP have a 2 original track „Mirage”, „Secret India” and remixes.
